Interlaken, Arrival Day

Harder Kulm Funicular Pass (at leisure)

Grab a seat on Switzerland’s famous cable cars and prepare for an uphill climb you’ll love. There’s no better spot to behold the beauty of Switzerland’s stunning mountains and pristine lakes than a viewing platform 4,337 feet above sea level.

Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Activity: At leisure, 10-minute funicular ride to the top.

Travel time: 11-minute walk from the hotel.

Attire: This activity includes walking up and down steps. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Special notes: Passes are available in Central’s Hospitality Suite. There may be wait times for the funicular, especially on weekends. Pre-registration is not required for this activity.

Paragliding Over Interlaken

Soak up stunning Swiss views as you soar the skies on a once-in-a-lifetime 15-minute tandem paraglide. This adventure offers a breathtaking vantage point to experience Switzerland’s green meadows, charming chalets, and crystal-clear lakes nestled amongst majestic mountains. First-time paraglider? No problem. Expert pilots accompany each paraglider on the journey to ensure smooth sky sailing. You’ll also receive photos and video footage commemorating your adventure.

12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
1:45 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Activity: 45 minutes

Travel time: 30-minute transfer one-way to the flight takeoff location. Your 15-minute paragliding flight will land you in front of our host hotel, Victoria-Jungfrau.

Attire: Sneakers and comfortable clothing.

Special notes: To ensure participant safety, the maximum weight limit for paragliding is 220 pounds.

Interlaken Optional Activity Day

Canyoning

Put your adventure skills to the test. This excursion is perfect for any outdoor enthusiast ready to take nature exploration to the next level. Climb, slide, and rappel through a nearby canyon before taking a refreshing dip in a natural swimming hole. Your experience includes photos and video commemorating the adventure.

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Activity: 3 hours

Travel time: 1-hour round-trip drive from the hotel.

Lunch: At leisure

Attire: Swimwear and a small backpack. Towels will be provided.

Special notes: Swimming skills and good physical condition are required. Prepare to get wet during this activity. To ensure participant safety, the maximum weight limit is 275 pounds.

Cruise & Climb

Climb aboard a one-hour cruise across shimmering Lake Brienz. You’ll enjoy stunning views of snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and lakeside villages. Next, we’ll hop the funicular up to the Grand Hotel Giessbach to embark on a 1.5-hour hike to Iseltwald, a charming local village.

Available time:

10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Activity: 5 hours

Travel time: 15-minute walk to Interlaken Pier, return via 15-minute drive.

Lunch: Included with activity.

Attire: Layered clothing and hiking shoes.

E-Bike on the Bödeli Route

Soak up the scenery of the Swiss Alps as you pedal your way through Unterseen, Lake Thun, Wilderswil, Bönigen, and Lake Brienz on the Bödeli Route. You’ll enjoy picturesque villages, nature, and lakes along the way. Remember to pack your mobile phone—this tour includes several photo-worthy stops.

Travel time: 30-minute round-trip walk from the hotel.

Special notes: This excursion is ideal for all skill levels, and previous experience is not required. Please note that e-bikes have a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds.

Jet Boat on Lake Brienz

We’re saving you a seat on Switzerland’s first commercial jet boat. Climb aboard for a spectacular and speedy ride across the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz. This 20-mile adventure includes 360-degree spins while passing picturesque villages and mountain meadows on one of Switzerland’s most stunning lakes.

Attire: Clothing and footwear suitable for the weather—and a splash or two—are recommended.

St. Beatus Caves

Experience the mystical St. Beatus Caves in the heart of the Niederhorn. We’ll depart Interlaken by boat, enjoying panoramic views of the Swiss mountains. Your experience includes lunch and a private tour of the caves.

Activity: 5.5 hours

Travel time: 15-minute walk to the Interlaken Pier, 15-minute return drive to hotel.

Lunch: Included with activity.

Attire: Layered, warm clothing and comfortable walking or hiking shoes.

Special Notes: Participants must ascend a moderately steep path to reach the caves. There is no elevator. This activity is not recommended for those with severe claustrophobia. Please note that heavy rainfall may restrict access to the St. Beatus.

Spa at Victoria-Jungfrau

Luxury awaits with this indulgent Swiss spa experience. Your day of rejuvenation includes a hydrating facial or a therapeutic massage utilizing targeted pressure to release tension and stress. Prepare to be pampered while slipping into physical and mental bliss.

Art Tour of Lausanne

Plateforme 10 is a unique site that brings together three museums and two foundations, creating an arts district in the heart of Lausanne. The museums showcase unparalleled artistic treasures, including artworks by Rodin, Giovanni Giacometti, and Anish Kapoor, and boast distinctive architecture, adding to the allure of this cultural hub. Évian & Yvoire Day Trip

Guests begin their journey aboard a boat destined for Évian-les-Bains, France. This quaint, historical village rose to fame when the Marquis de Lessert discovered the virtues of its famous spring waters. Gamblers and architecture lovers alike will enjoy the majestic Casino Royal, inspired by the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, a major cultural and historical site in Istanbul. The tour continues along the French side of the lake to Yvoire, a French medieval village. After lunch, you’ll have time to explore the local shops before heading back to Lausanne.

Travel time: 15-minute walk to the ferry and 15-minute return drive.

Glacier 3000

Enjoy one of the most iconic views in the world from atop a 3,000-foot glacier. This once-in-a-lifetime experience provides an awe-inspiring perspective on Switzerland’s natural beauty. After a scenic cable car ride, you’ll traverse the only bridge in the world suspended between two mountain peaks. If conditions allow, this experience includes an adrenaline-pumping alpine coaster ride down the toboggan run and a thrilling dogsled ride through the alpine scenery. Glacier 3000 is a bucket list-worthy activity you won’t want to miss.

Special notes: This experience requires a lengthy drive and includes a 13,000-foot ascent to the top of a glacier. It is not recommended for those with an extreme fear of heights or tendency to get car sick.

Lausanne City Tour & Chocolate Tasting

Immerse yourself in Lausanne's history. The tour begins with a visit to the Olympic Gardens, a 13th-century Gothic cathedral, and a stroll down the parapet leading to beautiful views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Next, you’ll head to the historic Château Saint-Maire Square and Palud Square to explore its 17th-century City Hall. Your tour concludes with a chocolate tasting courtesy of a Läderach tasting advisor.

Sailing on Lake Geneva

Hoist the sails and climb aboard a world-class Swiss sailing adventure. Lake Geneva is home to the competitive sailing team, Alinghi, and this excursion includes guidance from a local sailing expert. Activities can be tailored to your preference, whether you want to learn the ropes of sailing or simply relax while soaking up the sun.

Wine Tasting & Tour

Raise a glass on an unforgettable journey through the terraced vineyards of Western Switzerland's renowned wine-growing region, Lavaux. The adventure begins with a stop in the village of Chexbres to savor breathtaking views of Lake Geneva. Next, you’ll be whisked away to the quaint village of Lutry for an exclusive wine tasting at one of the local cellars. The afternoon closes with lunch at the stunning Le Deck where you’ll sample Alpine fare over panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the French Alps.
