Commercial Inland Marine insurance protects unique property that is either excluded or covered on a limited basis under the standard commercial property form. Typical property covered under an Inland Marine form would include property being transported, computer equipment and data, contractor's equipment, fine arts, and buildings under construction.
Inland Marine insurance is often provided by a floater endorsement. This floater can be attached to another commercial policy you own, such as a commercial property policy. Covered perils can be specifically named, such as fire, lightning, windstorm, flood, transportation, theft, etc., or written on a broader basis, providing coverage for all covered causes of loss except those excluded on the policy.

The policy coverages described above are in the most general terms and are subject to the actual policy exclusions and conditions. For specific coverage details and policy exclusions, refer to the policy itself or contact a Central agent.
